Description
ETA is conducting market research to identify firms that qualify under the Small Business Programs mentioned in Federal Acquisition Regulation Subpart 19. When submitting your response, please indicate under which programs you meet the criteria. The NAICS Code is 541611, and the Small Business Standard is $7 million. The contractor will be responsible for determining critical factors --characteristics and practices that influence success to achieve positive effects on participants of Job Corps centers-- as well as determine how administrative structures affect these critical factors, which in turn affect impacts. Activities undertaken as part of this contract include, but are not limited to, developing a design plan, collecting and analyzing qualitative and quantitative data, convening meetings, and providing briefings to executive-level federal staff. The contractor must be able to design and execute an unbiased, appropriate study and prepare high quality reports based on the data analysis. The U.S. Department of Labor (DOL) is seeking qualified contractors to study factors that contribute to or impede the successful operation of its Job Corps program. Since 1964, Job Corps has been serving economically disadvantaged youth, ages 16 through 24 and is the nation’s largest residential, educational and vocational training program for this group of individuals. Administered by the Employment and Training Administration (ETA) within DOL, Job Corps operates over 122 centers in 48 states, the District of Columbia and Puerto Rico. Additional information about the Job Corps program can be found at http://www.jobcorps.gov.
