Currently we have as built drawings showing the locations of some of our underground utilities. There is no record of the exact location, depth, and size of each underground utility. The contractor shall search our approximately 42 acres campus for all underground utilities. When the project is complete the contractor shall provide locations for the following existing underground utilities in no more than fifty foot increments: water, sewer, storm sewer, steam lines, gas, power, telephone/cable, and underground tanks. The contractor shall provide AutoCAD 2010 drawings of existing site showing all utilities and the survey control points used to record each location. Cad drawings shall include the following: layers for each type of utility, coordinates consisting of northing easting and elevation of each utility, all existing structures in reference to the utilities, location of all associated above ground appurtenances such as manholes, valves, and risers, and description of utility such as size and material. The contractor shall use a method of locating that is the least amount of disruption to the medical center. The contractor is responsible to restore all surfaces to the preconstruction condition. Restoring all surfaces consists of but is not limited to grass and green areas, concrete, and asphalt.
