- The Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) has a requirement to provide Janitorial / Custodial Services for Air Traffic Control Tower (ATCT) located at the Air Route Traffic Control Center 612 Division Street Farmington, Minnesota, 55024. This procurement will be 100% set-aside for Very Small Business firms NAICS code 561720 (Janitorial Services). Contractors to provide proof that they have an active business office for a minimum of one (1) year that is within a one hundred mile (100) radius of the FAA (ARTCC) Air Route Traffic Control Center 612 Division Street Farmington, Minnesota, 55024. (Map Quest will be the tool used to determine distance from contractors address to the Farmington (ARTCC). Also the contractor must be registered in the Central Contractor Registration website at http://www.ccr.gov at the time the offer is made. The performance period will be October 1, 2010 through September 30, 2011 with four (4) one year option periods. The estimated price range for the initial base year and additional four (4) option year renewals is between $100,000.00 and $250,000.00. The Request for Proposal (RFP) will be issued approximately July 23, 2010. To qualify to receive a copy of this Request for Proposal (RFP) prospective bidders must provide evidence that your firm is classified as a Very Small Business as defined by the Small Business Administration (SBA) (annual revenues not to exceed $8.25 Million Dollars, averaged over the past three (3) years) and have an active business address within a one hundred (100) radius of the Air Route Traffic Control Center 612 Division Street Farmington, Minnesota, 55024. The deadline for making RFP requests is July 19, 2010. Close of Business (COB) 4:30 PM. All requests to receive a copy must be in writing via e-mail to the Contracting Officer Diane Ayen. No telephone request or request after the deadline of July 19, 2010, will be accepted. "This Notice is for informational purposes for Minority, Women-Owned and Disadvantaged Business Enterprises: The Department of Transportation (DOT), Office of Small and Disadvantaged Business Utilization, has a program to assist small businesses, small businesses owned and controlled by a socially and economically disadvantaged individuals, and women-owned concerns to acquire short-term working capital assistance for transportation-related contracts. Loans are available under the DOT Short Term Lending Program (STLP) at prime interest rates to provide accounts receivable financing. The maximum line of credit is $750,000.
