- Pre-Proposal Meeting Modification Existing Vegetation Field Data Collections for the Intermountain Region: This contract will conduct on-the-ground vegetation sampling of forested and non-forest inventory plots across the Intermountain Region. It includes, but is not limited to locating, monumenting and photographing the plots then inventorying trees, shrubs, forbs, grass, and setting characteristics using a variety of protocols. This work is being solicited as a performance based service contract. Performance based means the contractor is responsible for an end product. If an end product is not provided in compliance with the contract specifications, an adjustment to the payment will be made The contractor shall furnish all labor, equipment, supervision, transportation, supplies (except those designated as government-furnished), and incidentals to perform all work necessary on the areas specified. All aspects of the work program shall be performed in an organized, systematic manner to assure services will be performed over the entire unit. The award from this request for proposals will be for selection of specific contractors that will serve under an indefinite delivery / indefinite quantity (IDIQ) contract for the collection of ground-based existing vegetation data according to the various protocols. Performance period under this contract will be one base year and four options. The contract proposal is to evaluate the technical capabilities, available resources, and capability to meet individual task orders to be developed under the IDIQ contract. In addition, a seed task order will be submitted that will be used to evaluate contractors for a single chosen protocol. This IDIQ contract is expected to cover the entire Intermountain Region, and will be in place for multiple years.
