Description
This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in FAR Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; proposals are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. The solicitation number is F3Z1350133A002; this solicitation is a request for quotation. This solicitation document and incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular (FAC) 2005-41 effective 13 Apr 10, Defense DCN 20100507 effective 07 May 10, and AFAC 2010-0402 effective 02 Apr 2010. This acquisition is being set aside for small business's; the North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code is 316991. The business size standard is 500. The Federal Supply Class (FSC) is 8460. The Standard Industrial Classification (SIC) is 2541. Travis AFB intends to award a purchase order for Air Crew Luggage in accordance with the attached item list. CLIN0001- Luggage (Nylon) Color: Black Volume size: 4800 cu inch (80L) Bag constructed of sturdy wear resistant material (ie; 600D X 1200 polyester dobby) with double stiched seams. Dimensions: 34.5 X 15.5 X 14.75" deep Bag zips in halves with each half having zipping mesh dividers to keep halves seperated. Semi-hard sided bag. Molding back panel with interior-housed telescoping handle sturdy wheels with reinforced mounting sturdy lockable zipper with zipper pulls Grab handles on top, both sides and double on the face of the bag. Solid handle/stand on bottom Two (ea0 cinch straps with clips over the face of the bag three front pockets with padded EVA & TPY backpanel Wheel type: IXIOM wheel system In an area 352" L x 347"W we would like to put 1 to 2 carriage unit that will contain a row of 12" drawers along the outside of one of the stationary portion of the unit to accommodate 200 pelican cases that are 6"L x 14" W x 12" H. On the other stationary portion of the unit we will need shelves to accommodate 6 large pelican cases that are 26" cubed. Must also be capable of opening this unit from both sides, and have approximately 48 inch isle way around the entire bulk storage unit (minimum 400lbs load weight limit). Award shall be made in the aggregate, all or none. The following provisions and/or clauses apply to this acquisition.
