- This synopsis has been amended to extend the response date from 13 July 2010 to 31 July 2010. The expected posting date of the Request for Proposal has been changed from 23 July 2010 to 9 August 2010. All other information has remained unchanged. The U.S. Army Contracting Command, Joint Munitions and Lethality Contracting Center, Picatinny Arsenal, NJ on behalf of the Project Manager for Close Combat Systems (PMCCS) has a requirement to procure the M1029 40 mm Non Lethal Crowd Dispersal Cartridge. The Contractor shall manufacture, inspect, test, package and deliver the 40mm Non-Lethal Crowd Dispersal multiple ball cartridges as delineated in the Performance Specification, and the requirements of the Statement of Work (SOW). It is anticipated that the Government will issue a Firm-Fixed Price, five (5) year Indefinite Delivery Indefinite Quantity Contract for this acquisition. The Contract will contain quantity ranges for each of the five years. The contractor will be required to deliver a minimum of 1,000 cartridges per month with a maximum production rate of 400,000 cartridges per year. It is the Governments intent to award this action under full and open competition. The applicable NAICS code is 332992 and FSC code is 1310. Interested sources may request the M1029 Performance Specification prior to the release of the Solicitation. The M1029 Performance Specification has been labeled Distribution Statement C: Distribution authorized to U.S. Government Agencies and their contractors to protect technical or operational data or information from automatic dissemination under the International Exchange Program or by other means as determined on 15 July 2009. Controlling DoD office is U.S. Army PM-CCS, SFAE-AMO-CCS, Picatinny, NJ 07806-5000. All interested parties must submit an AMSTA-AR Form 1350, Technical Data Request Questionnaire. This form will be reviewed and evaluated prior to release of the Performance Specification. Interested parties should request a copy of the form and submit their request for the Performance Specification for processing to the points of contact listed below. The Request for Proposal will be available for download approximately 9 August 2010 at http://procnet.pica.army.mil by clicking on Business Opportunities, click on solicitations, scroll down to W15QKN-10-R-0107, open the notice, and at the bottom of the page click download solicitation.
