Description
Incinerator Service DRAFT PWS Incinerator RFI Requirements Table THIS IS A SOURCES SOUGHT NOTICE ONLY. THIS IS NOT A REQUEST FOR PROPOSAL OR QUOTE. This RFI is issued solely for information and planning purposes and does not constitute a solicitation. Responses to this RFI will not be returned. Respondents will not be notified of the result of the review. Not responding to this sources sought does not preclude participation in any future and potential solicitation. It is the intent of the Contracting Office to use this for market research purposes only. If a formal solicitation is released, it will be via the Federal Business Opportunities (http://www.fbo.gov). The Government shall not reimburse the costs of preparing responses to this request for information. The Department of Defense (DoD), Washington Headquarters Services (WHS), is performing market research to determine the availability, interest and capability of potential small business sources in sufficient number under NAICS code 562213 and 811310 to provide incinerator operation, maintenance, and repairs for the Incinerator Facility located at the Pentagon, Arlington, VA. All vendors wishing to do business with the Government should make sure they have a DUNS number (http://fedgov.dnb.com/webform) and are registered in the Central Contractor Registration (CCR) database (https://www.bpn.gov/ccr/default.aspx). The contractor shall operate, maintain and provide for all repairs for two (2) Incinerators and ancillary equipment at the Pentagon Waste Destruction Facility regulated by the Commonwealth of Virginia. Contractor must have the means to ensure continued uninterrupted support to the mission critical operation of the facility, unencumbered by administrative or financial restrictions. All routine operation, preventative maintenance, and repairs shall be performed during normal business hours, defined as Monday through Friday between the hours of 0600-1500. Emergency repairs may require weekend or outside normal business hour services. The contractor shall provide all labor, materials, tools, equipment, travel and supervision necessary to perform normal operations, preventative maintenance, routine repairs,and emergency repairs of incinerators and ancillary equipment in accordance with (IAW) the Original Equipment Manufacturer (OEM) standards. The Government requests interested parties to submit a brief statement of current capability to perform these services and a letter of interest. Interested and qualified sources should provide the following information: - Respondents should complete the Market Research Questionnaire which contains provisional information for the Incinerator Operation, Maintenance, and Repairs requirement. HOW TO RESPOND Please submit your Questionnaires to this RFI via email attachment. Interested parties shall provide Capability Statement on 8 ½ by 11-inch standard paper and limit number of pages to 5 (including all attachments) to Robert Sherbondy, Contract Specialist, at robert.sherbondy@whs.mil by Friday, JULY 23, 2010 at 10:00 A.M.
