- This notice is being publicized in accordance with Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) 5.101 requiring Contracting Officers to disseminate information for proposed contract actions expected to exceed $25,000. Further in accordance with FAR part 6.302-1, it is the intent of the Federal Bureau of Investigation (FBI) to make an award to Packet Forensics, LLC for the purchase of lawful capture hardware and software capabilities; the proposed purchase order is for supplies/services for which the government intends to solicit and negotiate only with Packet Forensics, LLC for which the company is the sole manufacturer and holds sole proprietary rights. The acquisition will be conducted under the test program described under the FAR subpart 13.5. The Government anticipates the award on a firm fixed price purchase order. The notice of intent is not a request for competitive quotation. A Request for Quotation (RFQ) is not available. The Contracts Officer for this procurement is Gary Hopkins.
