Description
RECOVERY: Y - IDIQ Repair/Construction LPOE Modernization Program - Frontier, WA RECOVERY-THIS NOTICE IS PROVIDED FOR INFORMATION PURPOSES ONLY. THIS OPPORTUNITY IS AVAILABLE ONLY TO EXISTING CONTRACTOR UNDER THE 8(a) IDIQ CONTRACT AND TASK ORDER LISTED BELOW: GS-07P-09-HHD-0008/TASK ORDER GS-P-00-09-CY-0149, Modification PS04 Randolph Construction Services, Inc. 116West Bonneville Pasco, WA 99301 (509) 545-5404 The General Services Administration (GSA) has a requirement for Firm Fixed Price (FFP) modification to the above Task Order for the design of a new commercial inspection building with a 2-bay enclosed inspection dock. This change request is for design only and puts CBP under no obligation to later fund construction of this facility. Per the U.S. Land Port of Entry Design Standard the commercial dock requirements include the following: Each dock vehicle bay must be a clear 12 feet wide with no column intrusions. An additional 10 feet minimum must be provided next to the first bay to provide maneuvering room for off-loading the vehicle. An additional 10 feet must be provided between each bay for docks in small commercial ports with up to 3-bays. The off-loading zone may be increased to 12 feet wide to provide even column spacing. Docks must be raised 4 feet above the road surface, have a concrete surface with a light broom finish and metal edges. Docks must be a minimum of 62 feet deep to allow space to unload cargo, plus a 10 feet aisle at the back for circulation resulting in a total depth of 72 feet from dock edges. Provide vehicle ramp for forklift access. Required spaces include: security cameras, keyed entry on doors, driver waiting area, office and circulation space, cargo storage, staff restroom, public restroom, LAN/Telco room, janitor closet, mechanical room, electrical switchgear room, electrical closet. Building should be connected to generator.
