Description
Background Information and Brand Name or Equal Description The U.S. Department of Education (ED) has a requirement to extend the maintenance agreement for the Fiserv/Checkfree Recon Plus maintenance software for Windows. See the attached Background Information and Brand Name or Equal Description. Fiserv, Inc. is the manufacturer of the Checkfree Recon Plus for Windows software and is the only known source which can provide maintenance services for the software. The software maintenance renewal will be for one (1) year, from September 1, 2010 through August 31, 2011. Parties interested in submitting a quote in response to this RFQ may do so. Interested sources must submit information that demonstrates their ability to meet the requirements above, no later than July 19, 2010 at 2 PM, E.S.T. Any quotes must be submitted electronically to the attention of Chontelle.Grey@ed.gov, Contract Specialist (Contract Operations Group), with a concurrent copy to Linda.Riley@ed.gov, Contract Officer (Contract Operations Group). The simplified acquisition procedures set forth in FAR Parts 12 and 13 will be used. The announcement constitutes the only solicitation. Quotes are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. All software shall be delivered electronically to James.Cheatham@ed.gov. The resulting purchase order shall be awarded based on technical acceptability and price. All interested small businesses are requested to submit a written quotation which will be considered by the agency. Quotations may be submitted on the attached SF18 or on company letterhead. Quotations shall include RFQ number, the proposed unit price, the proposed extended price, any applicable credit or trade in, any prompt payment discount terms, company name, point of contract, address, phone number, fax number, tax identification number, DUNS number, and size status (i.e., small business, disadvantaged business or woman owned business). Offer must be valid for 30 calendar days after submission.. Quotations are due July 19, 2010 at 2:00pm, EST. Quotations shall be e-mailed to Chontelle.Grey@ed.gov and Linda. Riley@ed.gov All information in response to this notification shall be e-mailed to Chontelle.Grey@ed.gov and Linda. Riley@ed.gov.
