- This synopsis is being posted to the Federal Business Opportunities (FBO) website located at http://www.fbo.gov, the Navy Electronic Commerce on Line (NECO) website located at https://www.neco.navy.mil/, and the Naval Surface Warfare Center, Crane Division, Acquisition website located at http://www.navsea.navy.mil/nswc/crane/working/contracting. FBO is the primary point of entry to be used when access to synopses and solicitations from the World Wide Web is required. However, the NECO webpage as well as the Naval Surface Warfare Center, Crane Division, Contracting webpage will serve as an alternative if the FBO website is unavailable. The Government has a requirement for transducer ceramic stack assemblies. The Government anticipates issuing a 5-year indefinite-delivery-indefinite-quantity type contract with minimum quantity of 500 units (including 10 first article units) and maximum quantity of 4,500 units. Delivery is required F.O.B Destination - 150 units required 150 days after delivery order award with subsequent deliveries of 150 units every 30 days. Inspection and acceptance will be at destination. The Government anticipates incorporating first-article testing into the solicitation and award. The Government intends to award to the responsible contractor whose offer is the best value to the Government considering past performance and price related factors. The solicitation will be available on or about 26 July 2010 at the following address: http://www.navsea.navy.mil/nswc/crane/working/contracting/pages/Solicitations.aspx. All changes to the requirement that occur prior to the closing date will be posted to Crane web site, FedBizOpps and NECO. It is the responsibility of interested vendors to monitor the Crane web site, FedBizOpps and/or NECO for amendments that may be issued to this solicitation. For changes made after the closing date, only those offerors that provide a proposal will be provided any changes/amendments and considered for future discussions and/or award. No hard copies of the solicitation will be mailed. The Contractor shall fabricate and assemble the TR-343 transducer ceramic stack assemblies IAW the Technical Drawing Package (TDP). NOTE: The TDP is subject to DISTRIBUTION STATEMENT D. Contractors must be properly registered in the Government's Central Contractor Registration (CCR) and in the Joint Certification Program (JCP) in order to receive the attachments. Offerors may obtain information on CCR registration and annual confirmation requirements by calling 1-888-227-2423, or via the internet at www.ccr.gov. Information about the JCP is located at www.dlis.dla.mil/jcp. Additional instructions are available in the "Vendor" link located on the right side of the FedBizOpps (FBO) home page. The drawings will be posted to FBO and will be accessible at the same time the solicitation is posted.
