- Spreadsheet of needed sizes and shipment locations. This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for Arc Flash Personal Protective Equipment Kits, prepared in accordance with the format in FAR Subparts 12.6 and FAR Subparts 13.302, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation, proposals are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. The solicitation reference number is F4ATA40125A001; this solicitation is a request for quotation. This solicitation document and incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular (FAC) 2005-41. This acquisition will be a 100% small business set-aside; the North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code is 315211. The business size standard is 500 employees. The Federal Supply Class (FSC) is 8415. This request for quotation consists of the following items: CLIN 0001: (Qty 4120 Kit) Arc Flash Personal Protective Equipment Kit, kit should include all of the following or Equal: - Oberon PN: LCIKIT2ST-CC-XL-11-*SZ-K or Equal Kit includes: • 12 cal/cm2 Inherent FR Coverall • 12 cal Deluxe ArcShield with hard cap • Socks Hood (one size) • Glove Kit Class 00 (Rubber Insulating Gloves, Leather protectors and Bag) • Safety Spectacles • Earplugs • Kit-bag *Contractor shall include shipping into price* **See attached spreadsheet for sizes and shipping locations** "Equal" items shall meet the above specifications and the following directives: OSHA 29 CFR 1910.269 1,6 NFPA 70E American Society for Testing and Materials: F1506 and F1959 IAW FAR 52.111-6, Brand Name or Equal, if submitting an -or equal- product, vendors must supply manufacturer name and part number, and specifications. If equal, vendor must provide information with quote proving the equality of the items. Technical acceptability of or equal products shall be determined by the government. All quotes must reflect FOB Destination. The Government anticipates award on a best value basis. IAW FAR 52.212-2, Evaluation-Commercial Items, the Government intends to award a contract to the responsible offeror whose offer conforming to the proposal will be the most advantageous to the Government based on technical capability of the item offered to meet the Government requirement, past performance and price. The following factors shall be used to evaluate offers: 1. Technical Specification/Capability (Items quoted shall meet or exceed specifications in CLIN descriptions above) 2.
