- This is a combined synopsis/solicitation publicly announcing the Department of the Interior's Office of Surface Mining Reclamation & Enforcement Appalachian Region AML Emergency Federal Reclamation Program Office in Pittsburgh, PA Invitation to Bid on the Pittsburgh International Airport Mine Fire (PA-08-048) Phase III - Brush Fire Control in Imperial, PA. MANDATORY Pre-Bid Meeting is scheduled for 10:00 AM EST on Thursday, July 15, 2010. Prospective bidders are to meet at the project site. The successful low bidder will clear and grub brush and trees, excavate and quench burning material within the construction limits, and restore areas affected by construction in accordance with the Technical Specifications.
