- The Mission and Installation Contracting Command, Fort Leavenworth, intends to issue a solicitation for Brigade Pre Command/Command Sergeants Major Course Part 1: Balanced Readiness Seminar located at Ft. Leavenworth KS. The goal of BDE PCC/CSMC Part 1 is for the student to gain an understanding of those factors that compromise the achievement of work/life balance. This in-depth appreciation of balanced readiness will contribute to actualizing the tenets of the whole person/family fitness concept and its relationship with the professional demands of a senior level/corporate stakeholder of our Army. The areas of concentration will include but not limited to spiritual, emotional, and social fitness. To do this the contractor shall develop a program to instruct, coach and mentor up to 24 students in a Balanced Readiness Seminar as part 1 of the BDE PCC/CSMC course of instruction. The seminar will consist of introspective assessment, 1.5 days of classroom instruction, and coaching. The Balanced Readiness Seminar will be conducted up to 11 times each year with an initial annual student load of 210 students. Beginning FY 2012, the student population will increase to 305 per year. The Government anticipates a solicitation release date on or about July 23, 2010 through Federal Business Opportunities (FedBizOps) website. A single award of a Firm Fixed-Price contract is anticipated and award will be made to the offeror who provides a proposal that best meets the Governments requirement. All requirements, evaluation criteria, basis for contract award and proposal due date will be provided as part of the solicitation. The anticipated period of performance will consist of a 12 month base period of performance with four 12 month optional periods of performance. This procurement is set-aside 100% for Service Disabled Veteran Owned Small Business concerns only; under NAICS Code 611430 and who meet the small business size standard of $7 Million. All prospective offerors must have a Commercial and Government Entity Code (CAGE Code) and be actively registered in the Central Contractor Registration (CCR) at www.ccr.gov. The solicitation and any documents related to this procurement will be available at the Government wide Point of Entry at http://www.fbo.gov/ and https://acquisition.army.mil/asfi. Requests for printed copies of the solicitation will not be accepted.
