- THIS IS NOT A REQUEST FOR QUOTE, PROPOSAL OR AN INVITATION FOR BID. THIS SOLICITATION WILL BE AVAILABLE FOR REVIEWING AND PRINTING IN APPROXIMATELY 5-20 DAYS AFTER THE RESPONSE DATE ON THIS PRE-SOLICITATION NOTICE. The Government requires services for Packing, Containerization and Local Drayage of Direct Procurement Method (DPM) Personal Property Shipments. The contractor will furnish all personnel, equipment, facilities, supplies, services and materials, except as specified as government-furnished equipment, for the preparation of personal property of Department of Defense personnel for shipment and/or storage and related services through the DPM. Personal property will be prepared, packed, loaded, and containerized for all types of shipments destined for the Contiguous United States (CONUS) or Outside the Contiguous United States(OCONUS). This acquisition is proceeding as an Invitation for Bid (IFB) and is set-aside for small businesses. The applicable North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code is 484210. The size standard for this code is $25.5 million. This procurement is being conducted as a commercial item acquisition in accordance with FAR Part 12, using FAR Part 14 procedures. The award of a firm fixed-price contract with a base year and four (4) option years is anticipated. Important Note: Solicitation documents can be accessed Only via FedBizOpps.
