- The VA Puget Sound Health Care System, Seattle WA intends to negotiate a sole source contract for the Cook Medical manufactured Sheaths, Balloon Catheters, and Coils. This requirement is unique in that no authorized distributors of the required products have been identified at this time. This proposed action in which the Government intends to solicit and negotiate with only one source is being conducted under the authority of FAR 6.302-1(b) (1) (i). This notice of intent is not a request for competitive proposals. No solicitation document is available and telephone requests will not be honored. If however, any source believes it can furnish the product described above it is encouraged to furnish information about its product and/or services, as well as references from other customers who are using the same product. You may email Alisha.joyce@va.gov for a complete listing. Supporting evidence (i.e. authorized distributor, etc.) must be furnished, in sufficient detail to demonstrate the ability to comply with the above requirements. All responses are to be received within three business days after publication of this notice.
