- Department of the Navy United States Fleet and Industrial Supply Center (FISC), San Diego. This synopsis is for information and planning purposes only. It does not constitute an RFQ or RFP, and is not to be construed as a commitment by the Government. No costs will be paid for any costs incurred or assumed in response to this pre-solicitation notice. This is a synopsis of a proposed contract action as required by FAR 5.2. FISC San Diego intends to issue a Request for Quote (RFQ) for a High Speed Video System, Imager, Processor, 12 bit monochrome version. Required specifications will be further defined within the solicitation. This high speed video system will be required to integrate and synchronize an intensifier to an existing high-speed camera unit. The Government intends to make a single award as a result of source selection. The expected RFQ release date will be on or about late 15 July of 2010. The contract type anticipated by the Government is firm fixed price (FFP). Offerors must have an acceptable cost accounting system as determined by the Defense Contract Management or Audit Agencies (DCMA/DCAA). Proof of this will be required at the time of proposal submission. The contract will be 100% Small Business Set-Aside. The anticipated required delivery date will be 2 weeks after contract award. The proposed North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code for this acquisition is 423410, with a small business standard size of 100 employees. Potential offerors should monitor FEDBIZOPPS for the official release of the RFQ package. All inquiries must be submited by EMAIL ONLY. Communications must be received NLT 14 July 2010.
