RFP No. FA5209-10-R-0019 was issued on 6 Jul 10. You can download the RFP package from this web page. 2. THIS ACQUISITION IS UNRESTRICTED, HOWEVER, THIS SOLICITATION INCLUDES CLAUSES AUTHORIZED FOR THE PURPOSE OF CONSTRUCTION EFFORT IN JAPAN: FAR 52.236-7 (MODIFIED IAW AFFARS 5336.507, TO READ "GOVERNMENT OF JAPAN") AND DFARS 252.225-7042, UNDER WHICH OFFERORS ARE REQUIRED TO BE THE FIRMS THAT HAVE BEEN REGISTERED AND HOLD A CONSTRUCTION CONTRACTOR LICENSE UNDER THE LAW OF JAPAN. 3. Drawings are not included in the RFP package for a base security purpose. In order to obtain the drawings, please send your request to our POC via email. You need to attach a copy of your construction license issued by Government of Japan. See paragraph 2 above. 4. Site visit orientation will be held at the project site on 20 July 10, 1000 hrs. In order to attend the orientation, all offerors shall turn in the attendees list to 374 CONS/LGCA by 12 Jul 10, 1130 hrs. For details, please see Section L of SF1442. 5. Performance bond, in the amount of 100% of the contractor price is required. Offerors must provide with the price proposal submitted in response to the RFP, a letter of intent from their surety asserting their ability to obtain performance bond in accordance with the solicitation instruction/requirement. 6.
