- Description
- The US Fish and Wildlife Service, Pacific Region, intends to award a non-competitive acquisition to Fluidigm Corporation of San Francisco, California. This award will provide arrays and reagent kits that are needed to produce data using hardware installed at partner laboratories (NOAA Fisheries, Southwest Fisheries Science Center, and University of Washington School of Fisheries and Aquatic Sciences). The Government intends to award this requirement non-competitively under FAR 6.302-1 and in accordance with FAR 13.106-1(b) (1) and the procedures of FAR Part 12, entitled, "Acquisition of Commercial Items." All responses must be in writing, or by email to the Contracting Officer at Alice_Garrett@fws.gov. The contractor will provide arrays and reagent kits which will allow generation of transparent standardized results among laboratories. The contractor is the sole vendor of this type of arrays and reagent kits and has thus been selected as the available provider of the kits. Partners are already using equipment compatible only with these arrays and reagent kits. NAICS: 334516 This is a notice of intent and is not a request for competitive proposals. No written solicitation will be issued.
