- RECOVERY ACT - THIS NOTICE IS PROVIDED FOR INFORMATION PURPOSES ONLY. THIS NOTICE IS NOT A NOTICE FOR SOLICITATION OF OFFERS. THE ACTION DESCRIBED HEREIN IS A TASK ORDER UNDER AN BLANKET PURCHASE AGREEMENT (DOLQ091A20943). THIS OPPORTUNITY IS AVAILABLE ONLY TO THE CONTRACTOR IDENTIFIED BELOW. This opportunity is available only to Maher & Maher under BPA number DOLQ091A20943. The Employment & Training Administration intends to award a new task order to Maher & Maher. These funds are provided under the American Recovery and Reinvestment Act (ARRA). The contractor will provide technical assistance to support the Employment and Training Administration's Rapid Response Initiative. The technical assistance will involve the development and support of an online community of practice on the Workforce3One website. The Contractor will provide the services needed to support the workforce investment system in improving customer service through: - Integrated intake. Specifically, reduce the practice of requiring customers to provide their basic information multiple times for multiple programs, and support streamlined eligibility determination and provision of services. - Effective case management. Specifically, improve practices related to assessing, triaging, determining customer needs, and advising customers on employment goals and available training options. Technical assistance around both integrated intake and effective case management will: - Provide the system with broad based information on current practices, a readiness assessment tool, and available resources for implementing current models; - Support the system in providing frontline One-Stop Career Center staff, such as intake, assessment, career counselors and other case managers, with the information and tools they need to effectively and efficiently assist One-Stop customers
