- SOURCES SOUGHT A Sources Sought is a formal document for requesting information needed to perform an equitable and simultaneous comparison of vendors. Following is a template you can use as a starting point: Mobile Audiology Unit Mobile audiology unit to be located onsite at the Minneapolis VA Medical Center (MVAMC). Services will include but not limited to; compensation and pension (C&P) hearing exams, hearing tests, hearing aid service, which will include adjusting, fitting and dispensing hearing aids. Contract must have mobile van capabilities for this contract and provide a licensed audiologist. Hours of operations will be from 8:00 am “ 4:30 pm Monday “ Friday with the possibility of an occasional evening or weekend coverage. Background To assist the MVAMC to decrease the back log of veterans in need of these audiology services. Qualifications The licensed audiologist must complete the CPEP certification, as a requirement by the Department of Veterans Affairs, in order to be qualified to perform C&P exams. Information Requested This requested information is for planning purposed and does not constitute a commitment, implied or otherwise, that a procurement action will be issued. However the Minneapolis Contracting Office will utilize the information for technical and acquisition planning. It is recognized that any cost information provided by the contractor is a preliminary estimate for planning purposed; the contractor will not be bound to these estimates. Subsequent acquisitions may follow in the ways to best meet the government ™s needs. The government invites comments related to possible purchase or acquisition strategies. If there is a GSA or other contract vehicle already available for the services/supplies being proposed please include this information in the response. All data received in response to this RFI marked or designated as corporate or proprietary will be fully protected from release outside the government. It is not the intent of the Minneapolis Contracting Office to reimburse providers for the cost of submitting information in response to this RFI. The Government will not return pictures, documents, and graphs or interrelated requested information.
