- This solicitation is being posted to both the Federal Business Opportunities (FBO) page located at http://www.fbo.gov/ and the Navy Electronic Commerce on Line (NECO) site located at https://www.neco.navy.mil/ While it is understood that FBO is the single point of entry for posting of synopsis and solicitations to the internet, NECO is the alternative in case FBO is unavailable. Please feel free to use either site to access information posted by NSWC Crane. This solicitation is being issued pursuant to the procedures at FAR 13. Synopsis exception FAR 5.202(a)(13) applies and Solicitation Number N00164-10-T-0231 http://www.navsea.navy.mil/nswc/crane/working/contracting/default.aspx is hereby issued as an attachment hereto. The Government contemplates award of a Firm Fixed Price contract resulting from this solicitation. THIS RFQ IS 100% SET-ASIDE FOR SMALL BUSINESS BASE AWARD CLIN 01 - 02 Lifting Bar Assembly per SPECS and DRAWING - QTY Various CLIN 03 - 04 are Option Items. Evaluation of Options Exercised at Time of Contract Award. Vendor must be certified in the Joint Certification Program (JCP) to access Specs and Drawing.JCP Website: http://www.dlis.dla.mil/jcp/Default.aspx This procurement contains technical data subject to and controlled by export-control laws IAW 22 U.S.C. 2751, et. seq. or the Export Administration Act of 1979., as amended, Title 50, U.S.C., App. 2401 et seq.Since the Government specifications contain export-controlled data, all contractors seeking an award must be registered in the Defense Logistics Information Service (DLIS). http://www.dlis.dla.mil/ Technical data will be posted to FedBizOpp. FedBizOpps may be accessed at http://www.fbo.gov. Quoters - Please note before preparing your quote, carefully review ALL Sections Delivery is required FOB Destination, FRC Support Equipment, Bldg 514, Naf El Centro, El Centro, CA. 92243, 180 DAYS. ADC. Final Inspection and Acceptance Per RFQ. Quotes that are non-compliant with any material requirement of this solicitation may be rejected without further consideration for award. All changes to the requirement that occur prior to the closing date will be posted to Crane web site, FedBizOpps and NECO. It is the responsibility of interested vendors to monitor the Crane web site, FedBizOpps and/or NECO for amendments that may be issued to this solicitation. For changes made after the closing date, only those offerors that provide a quote will be provided any changes/amendments and considered for future discussions and/or award. Quotes may be emailed to Ms. Teresa A. Crevier at teresa.crevier@navy.mil. All required information must be received on or before 15 JULY 2010 by 1430 (EDT) local time. Contractors must be properly registered in the Government's Central Contractor Registration (CCR).
