- Description
- The Pension Benefit Guaranty Corporation (PBGC), a United States Government corporation and agency of the United States was created under Title IV of the Employee Retirement Income Security Act (ERISA) to administer the federal pension insurance programs and enforce compliance with the provisions of Title IV. The Pension Benefit Guaranty Corporation has a requirement for Actuarial Support Services. The tasks to be performed under this Full & Open requirement include, but are not limited to: i) determining and valuing plan provided benefits; ii) determining, valuing, and administering PBGC-payable benefits; iii) developing computer software to assist in performing i) and ii) above,; and iv) developing training to assist in performing i), ii), and iii) above. NAICS code: 541612; Small Business Size Standard: $7,000,000.00. The resultant contract is anticipated to be of a Labor Hour contract type with a performance period consisting of one base year of twelve (12) months and four (4) option periods consisting of twelve (12) months each. In order to be eligible for award, all responsible sources must be registered in the Central Contractor Registration (CCR) database. Contractors can register online at the website, www.ccr.gov. The solicitation and any amendments will be available through the Federal Business Opportunities (FBO) website, www.fbo.gov. It is anticipated that the solicitation will be issued on or about July 1, 2010. The anticipated award date is on or about September 10, 2010. Interested parties are responsible for monitoring the FBO website to ensure that the most up to date information is accessed. Paper copies of the solicitation and any amendments will not be distributed. Upon issuance of the solicitation, there will be an identified question and answer period. All questions must be submitted to the contracting office via email by July 9, 2010.
