- PRE-SOLICITATION NOTICE: The VA National Acquisition Center will issue Request for Proposal (RFP) VA-797-10-RP-0108 for the Department of Veterans Affairs (VA), Department of Defense (DoD), Indian Health Service (IHS) and Bureau of Prisons (BOP) for an unrestrictive procurement for Risperidone Tablets. The estimated annual usage is as follows: 20,090 bottles of Risperidone 0.25mg Tablets, 60s; 1,181 bottles of Risperidone 0.25mg Tablets, 500s; 30,861 bottles of Risperidone 0.5mg Tablets, 60s; 3,669 bottles of Risperidone 0.5mg Tablets, 500s; 39,192 bottles of Risperidone 1mg Tablets, 60s; 8,109 bottles of Risperidone 1mg Tablets, 500s; 29,424 bottles of Risperidone 2mg Tablets, 60s; 6, 817 bottles of Risperidone 2mg Tablets, 500s; 32,761 bottles of Risperidone 3mg Tablets, 60s; 4,916 bottles of Risperidone 3mg Tablets, 500s; 85,186 bottles of Risperidone 4mg Tablets, 60s. The estimated annual usage listed above is for VA, DoD, Indian Health Service (IHS) and Bureau of Prisons (BOP). The contract period will be for one year plus four one-year option periods. The contract items will be distributed through the VA and DoD's respective Pharmaceutical Prime Vendor(s). Offeror's must state the exact name (name that appears on label) by which the drug will be supplied and have a unique 11-digit NDC number. If the offeror is not a manufacturer, a signed agreement between the offeror and the manufacturer must be submitted with the offer and remain in effect for the duration of the contract period including the option years. Solicitation No VA-797-10-RP-0108 will be electronically issued in commercial item format in accordance with FAR Part 12 on or about 7/13/2010 with a closing date of 7/27/2010. The NAICS code for this procurement is 325412. Any future amendments and other miscellaneous documents will be available electronically for download at the following URL: http://www.fedbizopps.gov. No paper copies of the solicitation will be available, and no telephone requests for paper copies of the solicitation will be accepted.
