- Description
- This Pre-solicitation Notice seeks a Service Disabled Veteran Owned Small Business (SDVOSB)for a Firm-Fixed Price, Construction Project to acquire labor, transportation, supervision, materials and equipment to provide a three-phase, 12.47 KV underground loop feeder with radial taps to transformers at Great Lakes Main Site, Camp Porter and Forrestal Village, Great Lakes, IL. This feeder will provide electric service to Buildings 128H, 129H, 130H, 131H and 132H (Gate 3). This feeder shall also include a concrete encased ductbank, pad-mounted cable junction pedestals, pad-mounted switchgear, pad-mounted transformers, primary and secondary cable, secondary switchgear and other related work. Additionally, after successful operational testing, the project requires the removal of the existing 4160V Feeders serving the aforementioned Buildings. The work also includes ensuring that the voltage regulators will be installed on the 34.5kV sub-transmission system inside Substations R20 and F10 Camp Porter and Forrestal Village respectively. THIS IS NOT A SOLICITATION BUT A SYNOPSIS NOTIFICATION. NAICS CODE IS 237130. THE SOLICITATION WILL BE POSTED THE WEEK OF JULY 19th. Period of Performance for this entire project is no more than 600 days from the date of award. This period includes lead time for materials. The financial magnitude of this project as outlined in FAR 36.204 is between $1,000,000 and $5,000,000. THIS PROJECT IS BEING SET ASIDE AS A 100% SERVICE DISABLED VETERAN OWNED SET ASIDE.
