- NAICS Code: 541690 NAICS Code: 541690 and the Small Business Size Standard of $7M. The United States Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) intends to negotiate a sole source purchase order with Frontier GeoSciences, Inc of Seattle, Washington for Frontier Atmospheric Dry Deposition (FADD)samples, associated equipment, analysis and sampling training for reactive gaseous mercury (RGM). The US EPA believes that Frontier GeoSciences Inc. is the only commercial provider of a RGM passive sampler that requires no power source for time integrated monitoring. The FADD RGM passive samplers consist of cation-exchange membranes deployed on trace-cleaned aerodynamic filter holders developed by Frontier GeoSciences to minimize turbulent wind flow over the filter surfaces and to minimize filter exposure to solar radiation, precipitation and large particle deposition. The period of performance is expected to begin August, 2010 and last for 12 months. All interested parties who believe they can provide the required analysis should fully explain their capabilities and qualifications in writing within 15 days form the date of this announcement. The intent of this synopsis is to determine if any response(s) exist, a Request for Quotation, a Request for Quotation (RFQ) is not available at this time. Consequently, any response(s) failing to provide the aforementioned data, but instead choosing to submit a routine letter requesting a copy of the RFQ will not be honored. If no affirmative responses are received within 15 days of this notice to determine whether an alternative qualified source is more advantageous to the Government, a purchase order will be issued to Frontier GeoServices, Inc.
