Description
The Defense Supply Center Philadelphia is seeking proposals from business entities interested in participating in an acquisition for an Indefinite Quantity Contract (IQC). This item is a membrane element assembly. The end item application is a low pressure air membrane dehydrator installed aboard US Navy ships. The membrane element assembly is available only from Howell Laboratories, Inc. (Cage Code 22501) under part number 7001-G501. The acquisition will be solicited as an unrestricted IQC for stock under FAR 13.5 Test Program for Certain Commercial Items. The methodology of evaluation for this acquisition will be Lowest Priced offer who does not take exception to the terms and conditions of the solicitation. Offerors must provide products in accordance with the item descriptions and comply with the delivery requirements of the solicitation to be considered for award. Solicitation SPM8EF-10-R-0004 is expected to be issued July 8, 2010 with an estimated closing date of July 29, 2010. The proposed acquisition is for a total estimated annual quantity of 209 EA, for approximately $898,700 per year. The acquisition will be solicited as an IQC. The Minimum Ordering Quantity is 20 EA and the Maximum Ordering Quantity is 200 EA. The IQC will have a 2-year base with 3 one-year options. Delivery is to CONUS stock locations, destination inspection. Delivery schedule is 20 EA per 42 days after the effective date of each delivery order until complete.
