Description

This is a Notice of Intent to award a Sole Source purchase order using simplified acquisition procedures to procure Employment Advertising Services (the requirement) with Cypress Media, L.L.C, DBA: Kansas City Star, The. The requirement is mission critical to hiring goals and program completion deadline dates in Kansas City. The period of performance will be 09/01/2010 – 10/31/2010. The Internal Revenue Service (IRS) intends to solicit only one source pursuant to the authority of FAR 13.106-1(b)(1) and FAR 6.302-1. A Sole Source Justification – Simplified Acquisitions has been documented in the contract file in writing. Interested persons may identify their interest and capability to respond to the requirement and submit proposals. All responses received by the response deadline date will be considered by the Government. A determination not to compete this requirement based upon responses to this notice or proposed contract action is solely within the discretion of the Government. Information received will be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement. Questions must be emailed to Mach Ngo at mach.ngo@irs.gov no later than 11:59 p.m. PST, Wednesday, July 7, 2010. Questions received by fax or telephone shall not be accepted or acknowledged.
