Description
THIS IS A NOTICE OF INTENT, NOT A REQUEST FOR PROPOSALS/QUOTES. A SOLICITATION DOUCMENT WILL NOT BE ISSUED AND PROPOSALS/QUOTES WILL NOT BE REQUESTED. The National Institutes of Health, the Division of Radiation Safety (DRS) intends to negotiate and award a purchase order on a noncompetitive basis to Trivantis Corporation, 311 Elm Suite 200, Cincinnati, Ohio 45202-2743 for the continuation of the online training modules created and developed by DRS. DRS previously created the existing online training modules using the Lectora e-learning development tool. The sole source determination is based on the Trivantis Corporation continuing the work in progress, the existing modules require additional development to bring them up to professional standards. Since Lectora authoring software was developed by Trivantis, DRS would like to use Trivantis to complete the training development. By awarding this contract to someone else the government would lose both time and money. The North American Industry Classification (NAICS) Code is 511210 and the Size Standard is $25M. The acquisition is being conducted under FAR Part 13, Simplified Acquisition Procedures, and is exempt from the requirements of FAR Part 6, Competition Requirements. This notice of intent is not a request for competitive proposals or quotes. Interested parties may identity their interest and capabilities in response to this notice. However, the determination by the Government not to compete the proposed requirement based upon responses to this notice is solely with the discretion of the Government. Comments to this notice may be submitted by email to Ms. Van Holley at holleyv@od.nih.gov.
