- The U.S. Department of Energy, Idaho Operations Office (DOE-ID), intends to negotiate, on a sole source basis, under authority of FAR 13.106-1(b) with Canberra Industries, Inc. 800 Research Pkwy, Meriden, CT 06450-7169, for a one-year maintenance support agreement on four Alpha Analyst-PC and one Lynx System with a single, 12-month option period. Canberra is the OEM for this equipment and, therefore, is the only responsible source. The cost for this award is estimated at $47,000/year. THIS NOTICE IS NOT A REQUEST FOR COMPETITIVE QUOTES. However, any firm that believes it can meet the requirements may give written notification prior to the response due date. Responses are required to be submitted before July 13, 2010, 3:00 p.m. Mountain Time via e-mail to Jeffrey.fogg@id.doe.gov. Supporting evidence must be furnished in sufficient detail to demonstrate the ability to perform the requirements listed. Responses received will be evaluated; however, a determination by the Government not to compete the proposed procurement based upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government.
