- Presolicitation Notice: NIHOF2010251 THIS IS A PRE-SOLICITATION NOTICE; A SOLICITATION WILL BE POSTED TO FBO UPON THE CLOSING OF THIS NOTICE. THIS IS NOT A REQUEST FOR PROPOSAL, A REQUEST FOR INFORMATION, OR AN INVITATION FOR BIDS. The National Institutes of Health (NIH) will post a solicitation to provide upgrades of building utility systems to Johnson Controls Metasys Building Automation System (BAS). This is for full and open competition. NOTE: Contractors must be registered in the Central Contractor Register (CCR) prior to submitting a proposal. Contractors not registered in the CCR at the time proposals are received risk their proposals being rejected. To register in the CCR the website is: www.ccr.gov. The North American Industry Classification System Code for this acquisition is 238220 (business size standard is 14 million). DESCRIPTION OF THE REQUIREMENT: The contractor shall provide all labor and materials/parts as requested to provide upgrades of building utility systems to Johnson Controls Metasys Building Automation System (BAS). Provide maintenance services, preventative maintenance inspections, technical assistance, emergency services, repairs, and hardware replacement. Services to be provided include Johnson Controls Metasys telecommunications hardware, DX-9100 Controllers, Air Handler Unit Controllers, Unit Controllers, VMA Controllers, and software upgrade/revisions to Metasys servers as released by Johnson Controls Metasys Systems. Work shall be performed at the National Institutes of Health (NIH) main campus, Bethesda, MD Clinical Research Center (CRC) and the Porter Neuroscience Research Center PNRC. This Pre-solicitation will be posted for 15 days, and will close on July 12, 2010 at 12:00pm EST. The Pre-solicitation number is NIHOF2010251. A solicitation will be issued on or about July 15, 2010.
