Description

The Department of the Interior, U.S. Geological Survey (USGS), has a requirement for warrany calibration of the ILRIS 3D Laser scanning system, to verify laser power, laser frequency, optical alignment, recalibration of galvanometers, recalibration of range and accuracy parameter, camera recalibration. The Government anticipates award of a commercial, Firm Fixed Price type of contract. The calibration shall be completed in 2 weeks. The solicitation and any documents related to this procurement will be available on the internet on or about July 1, 2010. The offeror is responsible for monitoring this site for the release of the solicitation and amendments (if any). A formal solicitation, statement of work, and technical exhibits are not available for release at this time. This requirement is being issued as full and open competition. The applicable North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code is 334513 and size standard is $25.0 million. There is not an incumbent contractor. Full or partial funding for requirments to be completed by the contractor will utilize funds provided by the Act. Inclusion of unique provisions required to implement the Act, including those for significant reporting and transparency requirements is required.
