Description
SCOPE OF WORK : The contractor will collect water samples as indicated by USACRREL existing Ground Water Management Permit GWP-199101125-H-001. These wells are identified as CECRL01 through CECRL20 and one storm water drain outfall. The five main wells CECRL01 through CECRL05 and the storm water drain outfall require samples to be taken January, April, July, and October. These samples will be analyzed for most recent revision of NHDES Petroleum and Hazardous Waste Remediation Full List for volatile organic compounds. Additional wells CECRL07 through CECRL20 require sampling and analysis using the same testing parameters as CECRL01 through CECRL05 in July only. Additional testing will be done for monitoring wells CECRL07 through CECRL20 following passive diffusion bag sampling technique for July only. Additional samples will be collected and analyzed for 1,4 Dioxane as required to represent a seasonal variation in two source monitoring wells. Equipment necessary to collect and preserve samples will be supplied by the contractor. Samples are to be taken quarterly and will be collected following standard laboratory sampling techniques and protocol described in Practical Guide for Ground Water Sampling, USEPA current edition and RCRA Ground Water Monitoring: Draft Technical Guidance, USEPA current edition. The contractor will be a New Hampshire NELAP accredited full service laboratory and have current accreditation. The contractor will supply personnel and sampling equipment as necessary. Sampling schedules will be coordinated through ERDC-CRREL Safety and Environmental Mgt office. The contractor will furnish the test results and analysis to ERDC-CRREL Safety and Environmental Management Office within three weeks of sampling and prepare the annual summary report following NHDES guidelines. The Contractor shall, without additional expense to the Government, be responsible for obtaining any and all necessary licenses and permits and comply with any applicable Federal, State or local laws, codes or ordinances in connection with the performance of this contract.
