- The Naval Surface Warfare Center, Carderock Division, NSWCCD intends to award an indefinite-delivery-indefinite-quantity contract on a sole source basis with Treadwell Corporation, 341 Railroad Street, Thomaston, CT 06787 for services in support of the Model 6L16 Electrolytic Oxygen Generator (EOG), Automated Electrolytic Oxygen Generator (AEOG), Low Pressure Electrolyzer (LPE) and their respective simulators used to support training installed aboard SSN-688, SSBN-726, and SSN-21 classes of submarine and training facilities. The services to be furnished will consist of the removal, installation, inspection, troubleshooting, testing, repair, adjustment, disassembly, and assembly of EOG/AEOG/LPE and their respective simulators. The services also include overhaul of Government Furnished Material, providing specialized training for shipboard personnel to maintain and operate the units, the furnishing of technical documentation and incidental materials. The proposed period of performance will be 3 years. The Government intends to solicit and negotiate with only one source pursuant to FAR 6.302-1, only one responsible source and no other supplies or services will satisfy agency requirements, under the authority of 10 U.S.C 2304(c)(1). 'This synopsis is being posted to both the Federal Business Opportunities (FBO) page located at http://www.eps.gov and the Navy Electronic Commerce on Line (NECO) site located at http://www.neco.navy.mil. While it is understood that FBO is the single point of entry for posting of synopsis and solicitations to the internet, NECO is the alternative in case FBO is unavailable.
