Description

Scope of Work Request For Quote On June 24, 2010, the Government is issuing a solicitation for the procurement of a supply contract to replace and install pressure relief devices, sudden pressure relays, and winding temperature devices on a total of 16 transformers at the Fort Randall Dam in Pickstown, SD. The contractor shall provide devices, modify the transformers as necessary, install the equipment, and test for proper operation. This solicitation is being issued as unrestricted due to the nature of both the products and the services required for installation. It is set-aside as a Firm-Fixed Price Commercial Item Supply Request for Quote and will be awarded on the basis of a best valuation of factors such as, but not limited to, past performance, technical acceptability and schedule, and price.
