Description

SITE SHOWING INFORMATION IS POSTED BELOW. USDA-Natural Resources Conservation Service is announcing a project under the Emergency Watershed Protection Program for Navarro County, Texas. The project provides for stabilization of county road stream crossings by constructing timber headwalls to protect roads from erosion caused by turbulence around culverts, placing rock riprap armoring and sand-cement bag riprap along edges of roads to protect road banks and surface from erosion during flood overtopping events and placing rock armor along stream banks to protect county roads from channel erosion. The work must be completed in accordance with the specifications and drawings. It is anticipated that the solicitation will be posted o/a June 23, 2010. Site Showing June 28, 2010 at 9:00 am, CST, at USDA Service Center, 4321 W Highway 22, Corsicana, TX 75110-3108 Price Range: $250,000 to $500,000.
