Description
Washington Closure Hanford (WCH) is developing a list of interested parties. WCH manages the River Corridor Closure Project at the U.S. Department of Energy's Hanford Site in southeastern Washington State. Set aside for SDB and HubZone. Transportation services of U.S. Department of Transportation (DOT) defined non-hazardous, non-radiological material, in DOT compliant heavy dump truck and dump trailer combinations (i.e. truck & pup), from waste sites as directed by the CONTRACTOR to the Environmental Restoration Disposal Facility (ERDF). The material to be hauled by the SUBCONTRACTOR from the waste sites is non-dangerous per Washington Administrative Code (WAC) 173-303 and non-hazardous in accordance with 49 CFR. The material includes soil and non-soil items. Historical information, field investigations, and experience from other remedial action sites indicate the waste materials may contain, but not limited to, the materials listed below: Construction debris (metal, nuts and bolts, concrete, plumbing fixtures, scrap metal, railroad ties, concrete pipe, steel pipe, wood, empty drums, bottles, cans, ceramic dishes, crushed barrels, bailing wire, condensate collection tank, roofing materials, and other miscellaneous debris) Soil The following waste material will not be hauled by the SUBCONTRACTOR, unless otherwise directed by the CONTRACTOR: Land disposal restricted (LDR) wastes requireing treatement prior to disposal Uncharacterized (anomalous) wastes Radiological Waste DOT regulated hazardous materials The SUBCONTRACTOR shall provide equipment, labor, supervision, materials, supplies, tools, and consumables to transport material from waste sites to ERDF; dump the material into the ERDF disposal cells; periodically back-haul clean soil from the ERDF to waste sites; and document activities performed. The SUBCONTRACTOR shall be capable of operating up to 24 dump truck and dump trailer combinations per day on a single 10-hour shift, 4 days per week.
