Description
This requirement is for a firm-fixed price contract with 3 option years for a HARM missile cable assembly. This acquisition is for NSN: 6150-01-453-3130 AO, part number: 3156323-1. The function of the HARM missile cable assembly is to be used with AN/GSM-396 GM-LTS to reprogram/test AGM-88/HARM missiles. General characteristics of the item are as follows: approximate length - 185", approximate width - 0.0", approximate height - 0.0", approximate weight - 15 lbs, other dimensions - 3 leg cable, item material - wire. This acquisition will be a Hub Zone set-aside. It will consist of a first article requirement. First article testing will be performed by the contractor. All technical requirements for first article approval tests will be included in the RFP. The first article quantity of 1 EA will be part of the production quantity. The basic production quantity is 7 EA. The requirement also includes 3 option years each with a quantity of 1 - 8 EA. The first article unit will be shipped FOB Destination and all other assets will be shipped FOB Origin within the continental United States. The delivery schedule for the first article and production quantity will be 180 calendar days ARO contract or as specified in the RFP. The delivery schedule for the test report will be 30 calendar days after completion of contractor testing of first article or as specified in the RFP. Offerors shall prepare their proposals in accordance with mandatory, explicit and detailed instructions contained in the RFP. All responsible sources may submit a bid, proposal, or quotation which shall be considered by the agency. The Government will utilize the Past Performance Information Retrieval System (PPIRS), and will evaluate proposals and make award in accordance with the evaluation criteria stated in the RFP. It is anticipated that the RFP will be released on or around 6 July 2010. The RFP will be posted to the Federal Business Opportunities webpage ( http://www.fbo.gov/ ). The technical data required to respond to the RFP may be obtained through a link that will be provided on the RFP posting on Federal Business Opportunities at the time the RFP is posted. NO HARD COPIES WILL BE PROVIDED. The technical data is export controlled; therefore, only businesses that have been certified by the Department of Defense, United States/Canada Joint Certification Office, and have a valid requirement may access the data. All questions regarding the RFQ and/or the data packages must be submitted in writing to Jennifer.Lewis@robins.af.mil. NO TELEPHONIC QUESTIONS. All questions and answers will be uploaded to http://www.fedbizopps.gov. However, the identity of the potential offeror will not be included. Offerors are encouraged to register to receive notification for solicitation and all amendments/revisions and to check the FEDBIZOPPS site prior to submission of proposal.
