- The VA Greater Los Angeles Healthcare System has a requirement for Project 691A4-10-121SM, construction project for correct electrical deficiency. Solicitation documents, including technical specifications and drawings, will be available on-line at www.fbo.gov on or about July 6, 2010. Offerors will search for solicitation VA-262-10-RP-0352 to access solicitation documents and any Amendments. Interested parties are strongly encouraged to register to receive notification of actions including posting of the solicitation and any amendments. Offerors are advised to check the web site frequently as they are responsible for obtaining amendments. Only electronic proposals submitted via e-mail will be accepted, size limitation per e-mail is 10MB. A Pre-Proposal Conference and Site Visit will be held on Monday July 12, 2010 11:00 A.M. at VA Sepulveda Ambulatory Care Center, 16111 Plummer Street, North Hills, CA 91343. The meeting will be in Engineering Conference Room B125 in Building 1. Attendance is not mandatory, however all offerors are strongly encouraged to attend. Offerors must be currently 1.listed in the VetBiz Registry Vendor Information Page (http://www.vetbiz.gov/vip/vip.htm) 2.registered on Central Contractor Registration (http://www.ccr.gov) 3.completed Online Representations and Certifications at (https://orca.bpn.gov/). This acquisition is solicited pursuant to the Veterans' First Program, Public Law 109-461 as a Service-Disabled Veteran-Owned Small Business Set-Aside. A Firm-Fixed Price Construction award is anticipated. Additionally, the acquisition will be conducted in accordance with FAR 15.101-2, Lowest Price Technically Acceptable Source Selection Process. NAICS Code: 236220, Small Business Size Standard: $33.5 Million. Project magnitude: Between $500,000 and $1,000,000. Contract Completion Time will be Two Hundred Forty (240) Calendar Days. Ninety (90) day bid acceptance period will be required. Bid Bond will be required from Department of the Treasury's Listing of Approved Sureties (http://www.fms.treas.gov/c570/c570.html).
