- PR No:0025990699. This solicitation will contain one NSN for a Vane, Compressor Stator. This solicitation will be solicited for award of a Firm Fixed Price. Other than full and open competition applies. The nsn is 2840014359541for a quantity of 1135 each. FOB destination, Inspection/Acceptance at Origin, 255 days ARO. Progress Payments are not offered as the conditions at FAR 32.501 AND 52.232-16 will not be met. First Article Testing applies. Configuration control applies. Export control and Mylars applies. Air Force CSI. The approved sources for this item are General Electric and Blades Technology. Alternate offerors must submit a Source Approval Request (SAR) package along with the completed copy of the solicitation in order to be considered for award. The final contract award decision may be based upon a combination of price, past performance and other evaluation factors as described in the solicitation. One or more of the items under this acquisition may be subject to an Agreement on Government Procurement approved and implemented in the United States by the Trade Agreements Act of 1979. All offers shall be in the English language and in U.S. dollars. All interested suppliers may submit an offer. The proposed contract action is for supplies or services for which the Government intends to solicit and negotiate with only one or a limited number of sources under the authority of FAR 6.302. Interested persons may identify their interest and capability to respond to the requirement or submit proposals. This notice of intent is not a request for competitive proposals. However, all proposals received within forty-five days (thirty days if award is issued under an existing basic ordering agreement) after date of publication of this synopsis will be considered by the Government. A determination by the Government not to compete with this proposed contract based upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government. Information received will normally be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement. Based upon market research, the Government is not using the policies contained in Part 12, Acquisition of Commercial Items, in its solicitation for the described supplies or services. However, interested persons may identify to the contracting officer their interest and capability to satisfy the Government's requirement with a commercial item within 15 days of this notice.
