Description
The scope of work includes, but is not limited to, the following: Removal of cafeteria food preparation area. Removal of display and service equipment. Demolition of flooring, ceiling and wall finishes. Flooring preparation and installation of vinyl composition tile Modification of wall layouts. Installation of wall board and wall finishes Installation of acoustical panel ceiling with wallboard soffits. Electrical demolition and installation of new power outlets and lighting. Mechanical demolition and installation of new HVAC systems and fire detection systems. TOTAL SMALL BUSINESS SET-ASIDE - NAICS 236220 - Estimate price range between $150,000 and $200,000. To be considered for award of this project the contractor must be currently registered in the Central Contractor Registration (CCR) database (website www.ccr.gov) To be placed on the mailing list, please submit a request in writing via e-mail to c.o.shepard@faa.gov or fax to (816) 329-3137. The request must include the company name, point of contact address, phone and fax number. This notice is for informational purposes for Minority, Women-Owned and Disadvantaged Business Enterprises. The Department of Transportation 9DOT), Office of Small and Disadvantaged Business Utilization, has programs to assist small businesses, small businesses owned and control by socially and economically disadvantaged individuals, and women-owned concerns to acquire capital and bonding assistance for transpiration related contracts. This is applicable to any eligible prime and sub-contractor at any tier. The DOT bonding assistance program enable firms to apply for bid, payment, and performance bonds up to $1.0 million per contract. The DOT provides an 80% guaranty on bond amount to surety against losses. Loans are also available under the DOT short tem receivable financing. The maximum line of credit of $750,000.
