Description
1) Issue Date: 21 Jun 10 2) Estimated Closing Date: 9 Jul 10 3) RFP#: FA8100-10-Q-0019 4) Description: Coordinate Measurement Machine and Accessory Equipment Installation as follows: The CMM system consists of an enclosure, a rotary table, 1 ton Hoist System, and an HVAC system for enclosure. Collectively these operate together to perform high accuracy measurements for F119 IBR parts. The system utilized the PC-DMIS Software. This software is required to write the program for measuring complex features on all parts of the F119 Engine. 5) Mandatory Language: This announcement constitutes a formal Synopsis for the Coordinate Measurement Machine and Accessory Equipment Installation at Tinker AFB. Oklahoma City Air Logistics Center (OC-ALC), Enterprise Acquisition (PKEA) will award a single firm fixed price contract. Other than full and open competition procedures will be utilized in accordance with FAR 6.302-1 (b)(1), Only One Responsible Source due to the unique supplies or services available from Hexagon Metrology. Electronic procedures will be used for this solicitation through FEDBIZOPS at http://www.eps.gov/. Solicitation requests can be submitted to Mary Semyone via email at Mary.Semyone@tinker.af.mil. Note: An Ombudsman has been appointed to hear concerns from offerors or potential offerors during the proposal development phase of the acquisition. The purpose of the Ombudsman is not to diminish the authority of the program director or contracting officer, but to communicate contractor concerns, issues, disagreements, and recommendations to the appropriate government personnel. When requested, the Ombudsman will maintain strict confidentiality as to source of the concern. The Ombudsman does not participate in the evaluation of proposals or in the source selection process.
