Description
FAR Clause 52.212-4 FAR Clause 52.212-4 RFQ The NOAA, Northeast Fisheries Science Center (NEFSC), 166 Water Street, Woods Hole, MA 02543 is seeking quotes for the following: Material for the use as cod-end liners with the following specifications: Quantity - 1620 LBS 1620lbs of #504 Knotless Nylon, 1" Stretched Mesh, 432 meshes across, cut into sections each 384 meshes in depth. The weight of material is approximate based on the dimensions of material to provide 30 individual sections of webbing. Each 432 mesh across by 384 mesh deep section shall be machine sewn, the full length of webbing, selvedge to selvedge, to form a tube. Approximately 1620lbs of this material cut into 384 mesh deep sections should provide the NEFSC with 30 sections each 432 meshes circumference by 384 meshes in depth sewn into tubes. The NEFSC understands the weight of material may vary slightly and agrees to accept material at + 5% of the estimated weight, but no less than the amount of material required to produce 30 individual sections of the requested dimensions. The vendor shall include all delivery charges along with price quotation. All requested materials shall be shipped no later than 60 days after receipt of purchase order. In order to comply with debt collection improvement act of 1966, all contractors must be registered in the Central Contractor Registration (CCR) database to be considered for an award by the Federal Government. For information regarding CCR please link to the CCR website at www.ccr.gov. The FSC for this requirement is 4020 and the NAICS is 423910. The government intends to award a firm-fixed priced purchase order for this requirement. The Request for Quotes (RFQ) package is attached to this posting. Quotes must be either faxed (732-872-3002) or emailed (donna.sanchez@noaa.gov) to Donna Sanchez no later than July 1, 2010. All quotes received by the deadline will be considered.
