Description
The VA Medical Center located in Saginaw, Michigan, has a requirement for a contractor to provide all labor, material, personnel and professional expertise to perform weekly floor mat exchange services at the main campus located at 1500 Weiss Street, Saginaw, Michigan and the Veterans Readjustment Counseling Center at 4024 Bay Road, Saginaw, Michigan. Contract period will be one year from date of award (approximately October 1, 2010) with four one-year option periods exercised at the option of the Government. Total contract duration will not exceed 5 years. It is the VA's intent to solicit offers and award one contract on a competitive basis. This procurement will be conducted utilizing the commercial item procedures of FAR 13 and will be advertised as a total small business set-aside with preference given to Service Disabled Veteran Owned Small Businesses and Veteran Owned Small Businesses. The applicable NAICS code is 812332. The associated size standard is $4.0 Million. Request for quotes will be available on or about July 13, 2010 and will be due on or about August 18, 2010. The solicitation will be issued electronically and will be available only via the Federal Business Opportunities website https://www.fedbizopps.gov. The contractor shall be regularly established in providing these services for a minimum of at least three (3) years. Contractors must be registered in Central Contractor Registration (CCR) at www.ccr.gov and Online Representations and Certifications Application (ORCA) at https://orca.bpn.gov/login.aspx.
