- This notice is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in FAR Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information in this notice. THIS ANNOUNCEMENT CONSTITUTES THE ONLY SOLICITATION; QUOTES ARE BEING REQUESTED AND A WRITTEN SOLICITATION WILL NOT BE ISSUED. This notice is being posted as a Request for Quotations for Purchase Request F3R3E00165A001. This solicitation document incorporates provisions and clauses in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular 2005-40. This solicitation is 100% set-aside for CCR Certified Hub Zone Small Businesses. The NAICS code for the requirement is 423690. The size standard for this NAICS code is 500 Employees. CLIN 0001: SMART VMS MODEL I - Panel Display Height x Width (48" x 96") includes directional radar unit (DRU), amber violator alert, overspeed blanking, battery charger and axle/wheel locks; quantity 1 each. CLIN 0002: SMART VMS MODEL I and II Solar Panel Upgrade; quantity 1 each. CLIN 0003: SMART VMS Tamper alarm; quantity 1 each. CLIN 0004: SMART VMS Traffic Statistics Computer (TSC) and Software; quantity 1 each. All items are MFR: Kustom Signals Inc or equal. Shipping and handling included on above listed items. Offer/quote should include a technical description of the items being offered in sufficient detail to evaluate compliance with the requirements in the solicitation. Delivery is due 30 days after date of award. FOB point is Destination (Schriever AFB, CO 80912). The following factors shall be used to evaluate quotes: price and technical acceptability. Responding contractors shall include quotations and descriptive literature with their response to allow the government to make a complete evaluation and appraisal of the offering with respect to the requirements set forth in this combined synopsis solicitation.
