- The U.S. Army Corps of Engineers (USACE), Nashville District Contracting Office is hereby issuing a pre-solicitation notice of our intent to negotiate and award one (1) Indefinite Delivery/ Indefinite Quantity (IDIQ) Firm Fixed-Price Contract Not-To-Exceed (NTE) $5.0 Million inclusive of a base year period and four option year periods. The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code for this project is 561210 with a Small Business Standard Size of $35.5 Million. The Product Service Code (PSC) is S216. This requirement has been 100% set-aside for Small Business. The purpose of this acquisition is to acquire a full range of operations and maintenance support services within the area of responsibility of the Cordell Hull Lake water resource development project, located in Smith and Jackson Counties, Tennessee. Interested sources shall possess the expertise and capabilities to provide a full range of grounds and facility maintenance to include minor construction, of a public recreation facility. The Contractor shall be required to furnish all supervision, labor, materials, supplies, tools, parts, fuel, equipment, vehicles and transportation necessary to provide services to include but not limited to cleaning campsites, grass mowing, janitorial services, provide park attendance services, beach maintenance, water testing and maintaining sand filter sewer systems, marking and painting boundary lines, very limited construction and a variety of other services associated with the operation of the water resources project. Work under the proposed contract will be ordered by issuance of individual task orders. All work under the proposed contract shall comply with applicable State, local and Federal laws and regulations, industry and construction codes and standards, manufacturers specifications and recommendations, and all contract special provisions, terms and conditions. Any award to be made from the upcoming solicitation will be based on the best overall (ie. best value) proposal that is determined to be the most beneficial to the Government with appropriate consideration to be given to the three (3) evaluation factors: Technical, Performance Risk, and Price. A site visit shall be scheduled. All Offerors are strongly encouraged to attend the site visit meeting and tour. Exact date and time of the site visit shall be included in the solicitation. No other site visit will be arranged. USACE Nashville District Request for Proposal (RFP) number W912P5-10-R-0012 will be issued on or about 6 July 2010 to the Army Single Face to Industry (ASFI) at https://acquisition.army.mil/asfi/ or by accessing FedBizOpps at https://www.fbo.gov. No paper copies of the RFP will be available. Once the RFP is posted, it is incumbent upon the interested parties to review this site frequently for any updates/amendments to any and all documents. Interested parties must be currently registered in the Central Contractor Registration (CCR) to receive a Government contract award. Bidders may register with the CCR at http://www.ccr.gov/.
