Description
From: Executive Office of the President, Office of Administration, Office of the Chief Procurement and Contract Management Officer Request for Information (RFI): Sources Sought This Request for Information (RFI) is for information, planning and market research purposes only and shall not be construed as either a solicitation or obligation on the part of the Executive Office of the President (EOP) or its components. The purpose of this RFI is to help the EOP understand the market availability, technical characteristics, and functionality of solutions, tools, or products, capable of satisfying the technical, functional, and/or operational characteristics described in this RFI. EOP will use this market research information to assess the market's capability to provide the EOP's capabilities to support a requirement for review, analysis and preparation of news, news summaries and associated clips. EOP welcomes responses from all interested parties. EOP does not intend to make a selection decision or award a contract on the basis of responses nor otherwise pay for the preparation of any information submitted or EOP's use of such information. Acknowledgment of receipt of responses will not be made, nor will respondents be notified of the outcome of the EOP's evaluation of the information received. Additionally, the EOP does not intend to hold discussions concerning this RFI with any interested parties. Objective: The objective of this effort is to identify interested and capable sources to provide summaries (with links to full stories where applicable) of current news from national and local newspapers, wires, TV networks, and weekly news publications. REQUIREMENT FOR NEWS SUMMARIES AND CLIPS: Contractor shall prepare news summaries and clips packages derived from national and local newspapers, wires TV networks, and weekly news publications. DELIVERY REQUIREMENTS: All services shall be performed to ensure the White House receives the most current news, including news from morning newspapers and TV broadcasts from the previous 24 hours. This service shall be delivered seven days a week, by email to the White House Press Office at a time to be specified by the White House Press Office. It shall be simultaneously published to a IP-protected web site hosted by the contractor and made available to all EOP staff. On short, notice, this service may require additional revisions of briefings to be prepared by a time to be specified by the White House Press Office. Instructions: Interested parties shall submit the following information along with other documentation that will help the EOP better understand the capabilities of available products/solutions/services. 1. Marketing and technical reference materials related to your product/solution (marketing materials should include information related to the implementation and compatibility of the product/solution). 2. Online/Web based product samples that will be temporarily accessed and used by the EOP program team, if available (provide access information). 3. Narrative explaining why the product/solution is forward thinking (Please limit this narrative to three pages). 4. List of where product/solution/service is currently in use. 5. Any other documentation that will help the EOP better understand the capabilities of your product/solution/service. (Please limit this narrative to five pages). 6. A brief narrative on the direction in which any proposed product/solution/service technologies are headed and what is to come in the future. (Please limit this narrative to 3 pages). 9. Provide information regarding publicly available pricing information, price lists, pricing strategies, discount strategies, etc. Provide and explain pricing model(s) (i.e., license-based, user based, number of documents, size of all documents/files/text within documents, size of index file(s), other. Include annual maintenance model. 10. Disclose if your business is the production source of the product/solution/service or if your business is a reseller or third party. 11. Provide documentation of the size of your business. If you are classified as a small business, HubZone small business, Service Disabled Veteran Owned Small Business, Woman-owned small business and/or 8(a) certified small business please provide a capability statement in addition to the other information for acquisition strategy determination. 12. Please provide the following: a. Organization name b. Organization's website c. Contact Name d. Contact Telephone e. Contact E-mail address f. Size designation g. Number of employees in your organization h. Your organization's current and gross revenue (past year?) 13. Explain how your product adheres to Section 508 Accessibility Requirements which requires Federal agencies to ensure that individuals with disabilities who are members of the public or Federal employees have access to and use of electronic and information technology (EIT) that is comparable to that provided to individuals without disabilities. Provide information concerning contract vehicles available to be used by the EOP in acquiring your product (GSA Federal Schedules, Governmentwide Acquisition Contract, SmartBuy, etc.).
