- Description
- NASA Goddard Space Flight Center has a requirement for Power and Privilege Seriesworkshops focusing on four subject areas: gender, generations, disability, and sexualorientation. This small business competitive procurement may result in awarding separate subject areasas fixed price purchase orders each with a four-year period of performance. Offerors are encouraged to submit detailed Technical Capabilities on one or more subjectarea of expertise and submit Past Performance references, for each subject area, for thepast three years (include point of contacts, name, company, phone number, etc). The pagelimit is 8. The pages shall be one sided, 8-1/2 x 11', one inch margins on all sidesand no smaller than 12 point type. The Offerors Technical Capabilities shall demonstrate competence to successfullycomplete one or more subject area specified in the Statement of Work (Attachment A). NOTE: Attachment A, Enclosure(s), may be accessed athttp://prod.nais.nasa.gov/cgi-bin/eps/bizops.cgi?gr=C&pin= Technical Capabilities and Past Performance references are ONLY to be submitted at thistime. NOTE: A fixed priced quote shall not be submitted at this time. Fixed pricequotes shall be submitted after completion of technical and past performance evaluations(date to be determined).The Offeror's submission must include Company Name, Address, Point of Contact, Telephonenumber, and Representation and Certifications.Offerors must be registered in theCentral Contractor Registration database. Technical Capabilities and Past Performance will be evaluated against the EvaluationCriteria (Enclosure 1) and ranked using the Adjectival Scoring (Enclosure 2). Uponcompletion of the evaluation ONLY Offerors ranked Very Good to Excellent will be invitedto conduct a live 2-hour Mock Training Session per proposed subject area and shallcontain the following:oIntroductionoSession goals/objectivesoAgendaoGround rules/expectations for sessionoOverview of Power and Privilege concepts within subject area to be covered oDiscussion on how Power and Privilege concepts relate to subject topic areaoLinkage to Power and Privilege: Race concepts oAn experiential exercise and/or activity that is linked to session goals and/orobjectivesOfferors will need to include a component that addresses the scientific and/orphilosophical basis of their topic in order to accommodate the heavily scientist andengineer culture of our workforce and the fact they are prone to ask questions about thescientific basis for any idea, argument or philosophy.Offerors will manage the training evaluation and action learning (i.e., helping thelearners through the process of thinking about how they would apply the learning in theworkplace) processes. The offeror will be responsible for developing, printing, anddisseminating any course materials.This notice is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared inaccordance with the format in FAR Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additionalinformation included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the onlysolicitation, which is issued as a Request for Quotation (RFQ); quotes are beingrequested and a written solicitation will not be issued. The Government intends to acquire a commercial item using FAR Part 12 and the SimplifiedAcquisition Procedures set forth in FAR Part 13.Offerors are required to submit two hard copies and use the On-Line RFQ system to submittheir Technical Capabilities and Past Performance references. Hard copies and electroniccopies should be submitted to Attn: Dorothy S. Baskin, NASA GSFC, 8800 Greenbelt Road,Code 210.1, Greenbelt, MD 20771.The On-line RFQ system is linked above or it may be accessed athttp://prod.nais.nasa.gov/cgi-bin/eps/bizops.cgi?gr=C&pin=.
