Description
(Subject Continued) installation of Fire suppression System and communication upgrade. THIS NOTICE IS PROVIDED FOR INFORMATION PURPOSES ONLY; THEREFORE FAR 5.203 DOES NOT APPLY. THIS OPPORTUNITY IS AVAILABLE ONLY TO BISCAYNE CONTRACTORS INC UNDER W91QV1-10-C-0002. This contract modification action was accomplished using other than non-competitive procedures because this is a change order under existing ocntract that was awarded using competitive procedure. Additional work to Interior Rehabilitation of Historical Bldg 257; Asbestos abatement, lighting upgrade to meet LEED requirement, installation of Fire suppression System and communication upgrade. The contractor shall provide all materials, labor, equipment, transportation and services to perform the rehabilitation work outlined in the SOW. The Contractor shall remove and dispose of approximately 4,505 SF of asbestos floor tile to include encapsulation; Remove, dispose and replace ceiling light fixtures in the main floor and basement.res on main floor of building; Remove, dispose of and replace all existing drop ceiling on the main level of building; Court Room interior plaster repair to include clean up and repair of existing cornices and replicate sections beyond repair or missing to match in kind; install bicycle storage racks to provide LEED ALTERNATIVE TRANSPORTATION REQUIREMENTS; Remove one existing toilet stall from both male and female bathrooms on basement level and convert to shower and changing space; Upgrade Communications cabling system for the entire building to meet applicable requirements of UFC-3-580-01 to include installation of Wet and Dry Fire suppression System.
