- U.S. Fish and Wildlife Service, Pingree, ND, has a requirement for a commercial item or service. This combined synopsis/solicitation is prepared in accordance with the format in FAR Subpart 12.603 (as supplemented with additional information included in this notice). This document incorporates provisions and clauses updated by way of the Federal Acquisition Circular (FAC) 2005-41, effective May 13, 2010. This solicitation is advertised for full and open competition as a 100% SMALL BUSINESS CONCERN SET-ASIDE IAW FAR 19.502-2(a). This solicitation falls under procedures in FAR Parts 12 and 13. The North American Industrial Classification System (NAICS) number is 423230, Brick, Stone, and Related Construction Material Merchant Wholesalers with a business size standard of 100 employees. Quotes are requested for solicitation number: 62680AQ019. Quotes are due June 25, 2010, 5:00 PM. This announcement constitutes the Government's only official notice of this procurement. The requirement consists of the delivery of 2250 tons of ND DOT Class 13 road gravel to the Arrowwood National Wildlife Refuge, Pingree, ND. The gravel will be dumped and stockpiled. Delivery shall be made by September 30, 2010. Please be advised that the contractor will be required to show and provide evidence of delivery tickets with weights of the deliveries made. In addition, the contractor will be required to provide the refuge staff a minimum of 48 hours notice prior to scheduling delivery of the gravel. The provisions at 52.212-2, Evaluation - Commercial Items, applies to this acquisition. Evaluation factors are price and delivery. Offers shall include a completed copy of the provision at 52.212-3, Offeror Representations and Certifications - Commercial Items, with its offer. The clause 52.212-4, Contract Terms and Conditions - Commercial Items, applies to this acquisition. Also included in this acquisition are the following clauses: 52.204-7, 52.215-5, 52.219-06, 52.222-50, 52.225-01, 52.232-1, 52.233-1, 52.243-1, 52.246-20, 52.252-5, 52.252-6, FWS 1452.204-1, 1452.212-1, and 1452.242-7. The clause at 52.212-5, Contract Terms and Conditions Required to Implement Statutes or Executive Orders - Commercial Items applies to this acquisition, no addenda applies. The Government will award a purchase order resulting from this combined synopsis/solicitation to the responsible offeror whose offer conforming to the solicitation is the most advantageous to the Government based upon price and delivery. All responsible sources are invited to express their interest to this solicitation. Please submit your quote on company letterhead with all pertinent point of contact information including DUNS No., Tax Id No., and business size/type. In addition, your quote should provide unit price, total price, delivery date, FOB Destination and a signature. If your company has a GSA contract, please provide the GSA Contract No. as well. No formal format is required as this is a combined synopsis/request for quote solicitation. Offers submitted in response to Solicitation 62680AQ019 must be received at US Fish and Wildlife Service, Upper Souris NWR, 17705 212th Ave NW, Berthold, ND 58718 no later than June 25, 2010, 5:00 PM. Offers received after this date and time will be considered non responsible in accordance with 52.212-1(f) and will not be evaluated.
